The 1st Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, which took place from 10-11th September 2006, was held in Amman (Jordan).
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean was established to give more stature to parliamentary diplomacy in the Mediterranean region.
