On the occasion of the 43rd PAM Bureau Meeting, the 2021 PAM Award Ceremony was held on 18 November, hosted by the Italian parliament, at Sala Capitolare, Senate, of Rome in Italy.
This year’s awardees had their hallmarks on various vital areas, su ch as humanitarian assistance, education, combatting COVID-19, environmental protection, gender empowerment, to name a few. It is worthmentioning that PAM has dedicated a special prize this year to the effort of some of its Member States and organizations in combating domestic violence and fighting the COVID pandemic through education.
The ceremony was attended by government dignitaries and high-ranking officials. PAM President, Hon. Migliore, expressed his pride noting that: “It is a privilege to have so many of you today and to gather His Highness Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the United Arab Emirates, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Croatia as well as the Ministers of Interiors from Greece, Italy, Malta, San Marino.Turkey and State Secretary from Montenegro for this occasion.”
