The “Panel on Trade and Investments in the Mediterranean” of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) was launched in 2010, on the occasion of a special meeting of the PAM 2nd Standing Committee hosted by the Portuguese Parliament. Few months later, at the 5th PAM Plenary Session, hosted in October 2010 in Rabat (Morocco), the Assembly unanimously adopted a resolution endorsing the official establishment of the Panel.
Le « Panel de l’APM sur le Commerce et les Investissements en Méditerranée » a été lancé les 27 et 28 mai 2010, à Lisbonne (Portugal), à l’occasion d’une réunion spécifique, accueillie par le Parlement portugais, suite à une demande formulée par plusieurs délégations nationales, en vue d’un renforcement de l’engagement de l’APM concernant la coopération économique et l’intégration régionales. Lors de la 5ème Session plénière de l’APM qui s’est tenue du 28 au 30 octobre 2010 à Rabat (Maroc), un rapport et une résolution relatifs à la mise en place du Panel de l’APM ont été unanimement adoptés.
