A High Level delegation from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean today started talks in Amman, at the beginning of a parliamentary visit in the Middle East. Meetings will also be held in Ramallah and Jerusalem.
The PAM delegation, led by President H.E. Senator Francesco Amoruso, includes the PAM Secretary General, Amb. Sergio Piazzi, PAM Deputy Secretary-General for Assembly Affairs, Mr. Mourad Youssry, and parliamentarians from Morocco, Portugal, the Principality of Monaco, France, Serbia and the Palestinian National Council.
Today discussions will be held in Amman, Jordan, with H.E. Abdur-Ra’uf S. Rawabdeh, President of Jordanian Senate, H.E. Atef Tarawneh, President of the Jordanian House of Representatives, H.E. Mr. Nasser Judeh, Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Amb. Joanna Wronecka, EU Ambassador to Jordan and Msgr. Giorgio Lingua, Apostolic Nuncius to Jordan and Iraq.
