Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) Panel on Trade and Investments in the Mediterranean co-Chair, Eng. Alessandro Ortis, underscored the centrality of the Mediterranean region in the context of the international geopolitical balance and the role of parliamentary diplomacy in support of closer relations among the region’s populations.

In his speech, the PAM Panel co-Co-Chair, referred also to the importance of investments in the energy sector, particularly in those infrastructures required by the littoral states, which must be coordinated within a wider energy-environmental policy in the framework of an agreed collaboration and integration programme in the Mediterranean region.
Eng.
