The UN Secretary-General condemned in the most severe terms the large-scale, barbaric and indiscriminate missile attacks perpetrated yesterday by the Russian Federation on civilian targets across Ukraine.
The coward attack, which represents another severe violation by the Kremlin of the international law and the international humanitarian law, resulted in widespread damage to civilian infrastructures, and led to dozens of people being killed and injured.
PAM President, on behalf of the organization, shares the grave concerns expressed by the UN and the international community over the unacceptable escalation of the war of terror being conducted by the Kremlin, and the inhumane suffering caused to millions of Ukrainians since the beginning of the brutal Russian aggression against Ukraine.
PAM reiterates its firm support for Ukraine, its people, and their resilience and struggle for freedom, while expressing full condemnation and utmost outrage at a gesture that aggravates Kremlin’ sole responsibility in the context of its devastating and senseless decision to invade the sovereign, democratic and free Republic of Ukraine.
In this regard, in line with the UN and its Charter, once again PAM categorically condemns the Russian Federation’s illegal attempted annexation of parts of the territories of the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Crimea provinces of Ukraine.
