The Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean wishes to congratulate HM King Mohammed VI, the Authorities and the people of Morocco, on the peaceful and exemplary conduct of the legislative elections held on 25 November, 2011.

PAM welcomes the concrete respect and implementation of the constitutional reforms proposed by HM King Mohammed VI and which were approved by referendum earlier this year, and herewith reiterates its full support to this democratic process which will further respond to the legitimate aspirations of the people of Morocco.

PAM is confident that all stakeholders will be at the forefront and will actively participate, in full cooperation with the Authorities, in the furtherance of the principles of the participation of the civil society in a strengthened environment of representation at the highest levels of national governance.
