PAM had fully supported his appointment and commitment to this very delicate mission aimed at assisting all parties in Syria to find a peaceful solution in this difficult period of political transition for the country and its people.
The Assembly reiterates its backing of all the initiatives undertaken by the United Nations and the League of Arab States and continues to provide all its support to guarantee the establishment of the highest values of parliamentary democracy and the attainment of the aspirations of the Syrian population.
